Fish Burger

Ideal for a picnic or a homemade meal; especially during Lent. This delicious fish burger will be a hit with everyone. It includes breaded fish fillets with a bit of lettuce, onion, tomato, and dressings to taste. They are excellent.

  • 1 package burger bun
  • 8 leaves lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 onions, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cups mustard
  • 3/4 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 fish fillets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Beat the egg, cover each fish fillet in the egg and then coat it with breadcrumbs and fry in oil.
  • Heat the bread on a grill or griddle, as preferred. Spread a layer of cream on each piece of bread.
  • Place a leaf of lettuce on the bread, a breaded fillet, some onion rings, tomato, and cucumbers.
  • Add mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup to taste. Then place the top of the bread.
