Fish with Glazed Potatoes

  • 2 fish fillets
  • 1/4 ginger, for cooking the fish

  • 2 tablespoons ginger, in thin slices
  • 2 tablespoons green onion, in thin slices
  • 4 tablespoons Kikkoman® traditionally brewed soy sauce, for the fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil, for the fish sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups new potatoes, in slices
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for the potatoes
  • 1/2 cups Teriyaki Kikkoman® Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped for the potatoes

  • white rice, for garnish
  • black sesame seeds, for decorating the fish
  • lemon, for decorating the fish

  • Place the fish on aluminum foil, season with salt, pepper, and ginger, and steam for 10 minutes.
  • For the potatoes, in a pot, melt the butter over medium heat and brown the potatoes for 2 minutes, season with pepper, and add Kikkoman® Teriyaki sauce, mixing until everything is combined, finishing with green onions. Set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix Kikkoman® soy sauce with sesame oil and pepper until combined. Set aside.
  • In a skillet, sauté the ginger with sesame oil, add the green onion and the previous sauce, cook for 2 minutes, and set aside.
  • Serve on a flat plate with the fish drenched in the sauce, decorated with black sesame seeds and slices of yellow lemon, and place the potatoes on the side.
