Place the fish fillet on a sheet of aluminum foil, open the fillet, and set aside.
Slice the onion, finely chop the two cloves of garlic.
On the inner side of the fillet, spread a tablespoon of butter, add a portion of garlic, a portion of onion, and season with salt and pepper.
Close the fillet and repeat by adding a portion of garlic, a portion of onion, and salt and pepper. Add a pinch of oregano on top of the fillet.
Wrap the fillet with aluminum foil so that it is well sealed.
Cook on medium/low heat for 35 minutes on one side, then 35 minutes on the other side.
Remove from heat and serve.
