Oregano Baked Fish

Steamed fish fillet in aluminum foil with oregano, a simple, fresh, and low-calorie recipe. This way of preparing fish will save you time and you'll eat deliciously; serve it with steamed vegetables and white rice.

  • 4 white fish fillets, boneless
  • 1/2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 grams oregano

  • Fillet the fish in half like a sandwich.
  • Place the fish fillet on a sheet of aluminum foil, open the fillet, and set aside.
  • Slice the onion, finely chop the two cloves of garlic.
  • On the inner side of the fillet, spread a tablespoon of butter, add a portion of garlic, a portion of onion, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Close the fillet and repeat by adding a portion of garlic, a portion of onion, and salt and pepper. Add a pinch of oregano on top of the fillet. Wrap the fillet with aluminum foil so that it is well sealed.
  • Cook on medium/low heat for 35 minutes on one side, then 35 minutes on the other side. Remove from heat and serve.
