Cilantro Sauce Wrapped Fish

This wrapped fish is a simple option to prepare a delicious, easy, and nutritious meal. In this fish recipe, the banana leaf adds a particular flavor, but you can also use other materials to wrap it.   • 1 cup red onion, filleted
  • 1 tablespoon oregano

  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 bunch cilantro, for the sauce
  • 2 serrano chiles, for the sauce
  • 1 avocado, for the sauce
  • 1 cup plain yogurt, low in fat, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice, for the sauce
  • salt, for the sauce
  • pepper, for the sauce
  • 3/4 cups water
  • banana leaf
  • 4 white fish fillets

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • leaves cilantro, for garnish

  • Mix the red onion, oregano, salt, lime juice, and set aside.
  • Blend the cilantro, chili, avocado, yogurt, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • On a banana leaf, place the fish, season with salt and pepper, and add some butter cubes, wrap it up. Cook in a skillet over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove.
  • Serve the fish on the same banana leaf accompanied by the cilantro sauce and pickled onions, garnish with a cilantro leaf.
