Fish Balls Sinaloa Style

A unique, complete, delicious dish, and a different way to make fish balls with vegetables in a tasty tomato broth, to pamper the family or to invite your friends for a meal.

  • 1/2 kilos white fish, ground
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs, enough
  • salt
  • oregano
  • fresh cilantro
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • pumpkins
  • 5 tomatillos
  • 1 Jalapeño chile, raw
  • 1 cube chicken consommé, shrimp
  • pepper

  • The fish is seasoned with salt, pepper, egg, breadcrumbs, a little cilantro, a clove of garlic, a quarter of a red onion, and mixed to form balls.
  • Roast the tomatoes together with the jalapeño pepper until they are charred and blend them.
  • Sauté the onion with the garlic, carrot, and zucchini.
  • Then add the blended mixture, enough water, and the shrimp cube, and bring to a boil.
  • Once it boils, add the fish balls.
  • Finally, add cilantro and a little more oregano, and season to your taste.
