Fish with Green Sauce

Fish fillet recipes don't have to be basic. Prepare this fish in green sauce recipe with a touch of cumin and anise. Its fresh flavor makes it ideal for hot days, and if you accompany it with fresh radish and white rice, you'll mix the perfect flavors. Additionally, eating fish has many benefits, as it contains omega 3, low caloric content, and is delicious.

  • 1/4 onions, grilled for the sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, roasted for the sauce
  • 6 tomatillos, quartered for the sauce
  • 2 cuaresmeño chiles, without veins, in strips and grilled, for the sauce
  • 1/4 cups parsley, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups cilantro, for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, for the sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons anise, for the sauce
  • 1/2 cups water, for the sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, for the sauce
  • salt, for the sauce
  • pepper, for the sauce
  • 4 white fish
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • radish, sliced for garnish
  • leaves marjoram, for garnish
  • white rice, for serving

  • Blend the onion with garlic, green tomato, cuaresmeño chili, cilantro, parsley, anise, cumin, and water until the ingredients are integrated. In a small saucepan with olive oil, pour in the sauce, season with salt and pepper; cover and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Place the fish in a deep container and marinate in olive oil with garlic, salt, and pepper for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Cook the fish in a pan over low heat on both sides.
  • Serve the sauce on a wide plate with a ladle, place the slices of fish, garnish with radish and marjoram leaves. Accompany with white rice.
