Fried Fish in KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce

Prepare this delicious and easy battered fish snack with KC Masterpiece® Original Barbecue. Delicious crispy pieces of fish accompanied by a creamy dip with BBQ sauce. A great snack for this Lent.

  • 4 tilapia fillets, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cups Kc Masterpiece® original bbq
  • 2 cups panko
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • 190 grams cream cheese, (1 package) for the dip
  • 1/2 cups sour cream, for the dip
  • 3 tablespoons green onion stalks, finely chopped for the dip
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice, for the dip
  • 1 tablespoon chile flakes, for the dip
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, for the dip
  • 3 tablespoons Kc Masterpiece® original bbq, for the dip
  • salt and pepper

  • Batter the fish by dipping it in KC Masterpiece® Original BBQ sauce and then in panko.
  • In a small pot over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the fish for 3 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  • For the dip, in a bowl, beat the cream cheese and add the sour cream, chopped green onion stalks, lemon juice, chili flakes, paprika, KC Masterpiece® Original BBQ, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the fish with the dip and enjoy.
