We present you with a very practical recipe, as it includes its own side dish. The fish fillets with sweet and sour sauce accompanied by fries are delicious, especially if you use the Sweet and Sour Mango Sauce from Cocina Mestiza®.
Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper and reserve in the refrigerator until you are ready to cook.
Pour the sweet and sour mango sauce into a pan and heat on low for 5 minutes.
Place the fish fillets in the pan where you had the sauce warming, cook for 5 minutes on each side.
Heat olive oil in a pan, add the fillets (remove them from the pan with the mango sauce) and sear them to caramelize the fish.
Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan with the sauce, cook for 5 more minutes, being careful not to burn the sauce.
Adjust the seasoning.
Peel and cut the potatoes (into julienne), fry them in plenty of oil, being careful not to burn them.
Remove the potatoes from the oil, drain the excess oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Pour a little of the sauce and cherry tomatoes onto a plate. Place the fish and potatoes on top.
