Green Ceviche with Apple

This delicious green ceviche is unique in its kind because, besides being tasty and tangy, the green sauce is made from lettuces, giving this recipe a twist that will surprise you.

  • 4 white fish fillets
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 4 tomatillos, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onions, finely chopped
  • 5 serrano chiles, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups olives, sliced
  • 1 green apple, in small cubes
  • 1 avocado, in cubes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro
  • 1 cup lettuce, French Eva®
  • 1/4 cups olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup plantain, fried

  • Cut the fish into small cubes and mix in a large bowl with lemon juice, tomato, onion, chili, olives, apples, and avocado.
  • Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour and 30 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
  • For the sauce, blend the olive oil with cilantro and French Eva® lettuce until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
  • Mix the green sauce with the ceviche and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve and accompany with plantain chips.
