Grilled Fish with Mango

This fish recipe is cooked on the grill and served with a mango sauce with pineapple, chili, and a hint of orange. With this range of tropical flavors, you will drive everyone who tries it crazy. Addiction to a unique flavor.

  • 2 mangoes, ripe
  • 3/4 cups pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 serrano chile, seedless and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro, or finely chopped mint

  • 500 grams white fish, (halibut) cut into 4 portions, skinless

  • Cut the mangoes into small cubes, you should end up with about 1 and a half cups.
  • In a bowl, mix the mangoes, pineapple, onion, chili, orange juice, and lime juice. Add the cilantro and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Season with pepper and let sit for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill over high heat.
  • Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Place the fish with tongs on the hottest part of the grill, turning once after 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Serve the fish with the mango sauce on top.
