Grilled Fish with Mango

This fish recipe is cooked on the grill and served with a mango salsa with pineapple, chile and a hint of orange. With this range of tropical flavors you will go crazy to all who try it. Addiction to a unique flavor.

  • 2 mangoes, mature
  • 3/4 cups pineapple, cut into pieces
  • 3 tablespoons red onion, thin slice
  • 1 serrano chile, without seed and well chopped
  • 1/4 cups orange juice, cool
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cups fresh cilantro, or finely chopped mint

  • 500 grams white fish, (halibut) cut into 4 portions, without the skin

  • Cut the mangoes into squares, they should come out as 1 and a half cups.
  • In a bowl, mix the mangoes, pineapple, onion, chili, orange juice and lemon juice. Add the cilantro and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Season with pepper and let stand for 20 minutes.
  • Heat the grill on high heat.
  • Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Put the fish with tongs on the hottest part of the grill, turning it over 1 time after 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Serve the fish with the mango sauce on top.
