Marinated Shrimp Skewers in White Wine

Grilled shrimp skewers are delicious whether on the grill or in the broiler. Combined with the vegetables, they are very appealing.

  • 700 grams shrimp, large raw
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon tarragon, freshly chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons thyme, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons oregano, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, in slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomato
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, in pieces
  • 1 red onion, in pieces

  • Peel the shrimp leaving the tail on. In a bowl, mix wine, oil, and herbs, and let marinate for 2 to 4 hours in the refrigerator. Heat the grill.
  • Drain the marinade and set aside. Thread the skewers, placing a shrimp, a slice of zucchini, onion, tomato, shrimp, bell pepper, etc. Place them on a plate and baste the vegetables with the marinade, sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, and paprika. Then baste with melted butter.
  • Cook the skewers on the grill for 6 to 8 minutes, turning them only once, until they are cooked and golden. It is recommended to baste occasionally with the marinade to prevent them from drying out and to enhance the flavor.
