Miso glazed salmon

Healthy salmon recipe with a miso, soy, and ginger sauce.

  • 1 tablespoon white miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet rice wine)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 salmon fillet
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

  • Preheat the oven to broil. This is for finishing the cooking of something that cooks quickly or doesn't need much heat.
  • Mix the miso paste, mirin (rice vinegar), soy sauce, sugar, and ginger. Place this mixture over the salmon on a baking tray.
  • Cook in the oven on broil for 8 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Serve with white rice and a salad.
