Spaghetti with Clams

This exquisite clam pasta is very easy to prepare in less than 30 minutes.

  • 1/2 balls spaghetti
  • 1/2 glasses olive oil
  • 2 shallot, finely chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 ball clams, clean
  • 1/2 glasses parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 glasses dry white wine
  • 2 pieces butter, cut into small cubes

  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil with salt. Add pasta and cook according to package directions, about 8 minutes for al dente.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet. When it is boiling, add the shallots and minced garlic and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the clams and wine. Cover the skillet and lower the heat. Let them cook for about 6-8 minutes until almost all the clams have opened.
  • Add the chopped parsley and cubed butter. Stir to thicken the sauce. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste.
  • Remove the pasta from the boiling water and pass through a strainer. Add the pasta to the clam sauce and stir.
  • Serve the pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.
