Nayarit-style Fish Ceviche

Prepare this delicious Nayarit-style fish ceviche, very different from the conventional, with ingredients you surely have in your refrigerator and with a spectacular flavor. Go ahead and try it!

  • 2 cups fish fillet, Sierra
  • 2 limes, juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cups white onion
  • 1/4 cups cilantro
  • 1/2 cups tomato
  • 1/2 cups cucumber
  • 1/2 cups avocado
  • 1/2 cups carrot
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • salt
  • pepper

  • In a food processor, finely grind the fish. Set aside.
  • Finely chop the onion, cilantro, tomato, cucumber, and avocado. Grate the carrot finely.
  • Mix the fish, lime juice, chopped vegetables, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl until all ingredients are combined and marinate for 5 minutes. Strain.
  • Serve and enjoy.
