Nopalitos with Tuna

A delicious dish, easy to prepare based on highly nutritious nopal, with a spicy touch from the chipotle and fragrant with a sprig of epazote. A very Mexican flavor to prepare canned tuna and enjoy something different.

  • 10 nopales
  • 1/4 onions 1/4 onions
  • 1 sprig epazote
  • 2 cans tuna
  • 3 chipotle chiles
  • 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon salt

  • Cook the chopped nopalitos in pieces with a little salt.
  • Once cooked, let them drain.
  • In a hot skillet, add the oil and fry the onion until it is transparent.
  • Fry the nopalitos along with the onion for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Add the tuna and mix.
  • Add the finely chopped epazote and the chipotle chiles.
  • Cover and stir constantly for 5 minutes.
  • Ready, you can enjoy this delicious dish; you can serve it with beans and tortillas.
