Potato and Tuna Cakes

Soft potato pancakes with tuna, perfect to share a delicious homemade meal with the family. Accompanied with a rich and fresh salad of vegetables that you like and do not forget to put a few drops of lemon.

  • 5 potatoes, cooked and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cans tuna in oil
  • salt and pepper

  • Place the potatoes in a bowl and begin to form a puree.
  • Add the salt, the egg, the tablespoon of flour and the bread crumbs.
  • Mix gently until the ingredients are incorporated and add the tuna.
  • Place some ground bread on a plate. With a soup spoon take a bit of the potato mixture, form balls and flatten them a bit.
  • Pass them through the ground bread and fry in hot oil.
  • Once they are fried, place them on absorbent paper to remove the excess fat and serve.
