Potato and Tuna Patties

Soft potato patties with tuna, perfect for sharing a delicious homemade meal with family. Serve with a fresh salad of your favorite vegetables and don't forget to squeeze a few drops of lemon.

  • 5 potatoes, cooked and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cans tuna in oil
  • salt and pepper

  • Place the potatoes in a bowl and start to mash them.
  • Add salt, egg, a tablespoon of flour, and a tablespoon of breadcrumbs.
  • Gently mix until the ingredients are combined and add the tuna.
  • Place some breadcrumbs on a plate. Using a tablespoon, take a bit of the potato mixture, form balls, and flatten them a bit.
  • Coat them in breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil.
  • Once fried, place them on paper towels to remove excess grease and serve.
