Puff Pastry Ring with Tuna

Prepare this crunchy puff pastry ring filled with delicious and juicy cod-style tuna, which is ideal for dipping with your preferred dressing. It's super easy, and you'll impress your guests.

  • 2 cans Dolores® tuna belly
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups tomato, diced, without seeds
  • 2 leaves dried bay
  • 1/2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 3 güero chiles
  • 1/4 cups almonds, peeled
  • 1/2 cups olives, sliced
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 1 egg, for glazing

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the tuna oil and cook the onion and garlic. Add the tomato and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the Atún Dolores® Ventresca and the spices and cook for about 10 minutes. Incorporate the güero chiles, almonds, and olives, season, and set aside.
  • Roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin and cut out triangles of the same size.
  • Form a circle with the triangles and add the tuna filling in the center. Close to form a ring and glaze with egg.
  • Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes. Serve with your preferred dressing.
