Puff Pastry, Tuna, and Spinach Pockets

Surprise everyone with this spectacular appetizer, which is not only a delicious option but also very healthy. It features delicious tuna cubes with a mixture of spinach and ricotta cheese wrapped in puff pastry. Delicious!

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 bunches spinach, disinfected and chopped
  • 3/4 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cans cubes of smoked Dolores® tuna
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 400 grams puff pastry
  • 1 egg, for brushing

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic. Add the spinach and cook for 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the spinach with the ricotta cheese and the Dolores® Smoked Tuna cubes. Set aside.
  • Roll out the puff pastry, cut 12 x 12 cm squares, add the tuna mixture in the center, and cover with another square of pastry, sealing with egg.
  • Brush all the squares with egg and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot.
