Salmon Burger with Avocado Sauce and Watercress

  • 600 grams fresh salmon, Ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons Great Value® ground bread
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Special Olive Oil®
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoons Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® vegetable oil
  • 4 portobello mushrooms, in slice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Great Value® plain salt, for the portobellos
  • 1/4 teaspoons pepper, for the portobellos
  • 1/2 bunches watercress
  • 4 hamburger buns

  • For the hamburgers, in a bowl mix the salmon with the cilantro, the scallion, the dijon mustard, the yolk and the ground bread, mix everything until completely incorporated.
  • Form hamburgers and reserve.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add the oil, fry the burgers and cook until they are cooked. Drain on absorbent paper.
  • For the sauce, blend the avocado with the cilantro, the lemon juice, the jalapeños, the sour cream, the salt and pepper.
  • In a pan heat the oil and cook the portobelos about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, reserve.
  • Place a bit of the avocado sauce, the hamburger, the portobellos, the tomato and decorate with a little watercress in a hamburger bun.
