Salmon Burgers for Lent

  • 500 grams Tuny® salmon in water
  • 1 clove shallot
  • 1 tablespoon capers
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cups pickles, sour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 tomato
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • Mix the Tuny® salmon with the shallots, capers, mustard, breadcrumbs, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Shape the burgers with your hands and refrigerate them.
  • Heat a skillet and grease it with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook each salmon burger until lightly browned.
  • Place spinach, tomato, pickles, and red onion on the bread.
  • Add a salmon burger and top with the other half of the bread.
