Place enough water in a deep pot and bring it to a boil over high heat. Once it is bubbling, add the pasta. Cook for about 10 minutes or until you feel it is soft, being careful not to overcook it so it doesn't break. If you are not going to cook it immediately, drain it and add a splash of olive oil to prevent it from sticking.
Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Melt the butter in a skillet, once hot, place the salmon and let it cook until well done; the internal temperature of the product should be approximately 65°C to know if it is cooked properly.
Once the salmon is cooked, flake it with a fork so that it becomes shredded or in small pieces.
Place the pasta in a semi-deep skillet or pot and add the salmon. Add the cream and mix with a wooden spoon using slow movements to avoid breaking the pasta.
Season with a little more salt and pepper if desired.
Finally, add the finely chopped green onion. Serve hot.
