Scallops in White Wine

This is an exquisite recipe for scallops in white wine. Perfect if you want to host a gathering this Lent.

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • In a bowl, pour the scallops with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • To make a special sauce to accompany the scallops, mix the soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and ginger.
  • Finally, heat a skillet with a little oil, sear the scallops until they are slightly golden, and add the butter and white wine.
  • Lower the heat and let it cook for about 1 minute. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
