Shrimp Cocktail

Prepare this delicious cocktail with a touch of tomato juice and shrimp. This recipe is ideal for Lent. You can serve it with crackers.

  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onions, finely chopped
  • 2 serrano chiles, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 3/4 cups Camaronazo® Tomato and shrimp juice
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Maggi seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons México Lindo® sauce
  • 500 grams pink shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon Knorr ® shrimp bouillon
  • 2 avocados, in cubes
  • fresh cilantro, fresh, for decoration
  • saltine crackers, for accompaniment

  • In a bowl, mix the tomato with the red onion, serrano pepper, cilantro, ketchup, Camaronazo® tomato and shrimp juice, lime juice, Maggi sauce, olive oil, Mexico Lindo® hot sauce, and pacotilla shrimp.
  • Season with Knorr® Shrimp Broth and carefully incorporate the avocado cubes, reserving some for decoration.
  • Serve in cocktail glasses and garnish with a bit of fresh cilantro and avocado. Accompany with crackers.
