Shrimp in Chipotle Sauce

Cook with us these delicious shrimp in a creamy chipotle and cream cheese sauce, seasoned with Sal de Mar Sal Sol® which gives the perfect touch of flavor to your shrimp. Serve with white rice and you will have a delicious dish.

  • 1/2 cups chipotle chile in adobo sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 750 grams shrimp, cleaned and headless
  • fresh cilantro, whole and finely chopped for garnish

  • Add the chipotle in adobo, sour cream, cream cheese, and garlic to the blender, blend until you achieve a smooth sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat with the oil, fry the garlic with the onion until they have a bright and transparent color, add the shrimp and the previously blended sauce. Season with Sal de Mar Sal Sol® and cook for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve with cilantro and accompany with rice.
