Shrimp Korma

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 onions, finely chopped
3 tablespoons korma paste
1 sprig cinnamon
400 milliliters chicken broth
200 grams basmati rice
200 grams frozen peas
300 grams medium-sized shrimp, peeled and deveined
200 grams unsweetened natural yoghurt
50 grams almonds, ground

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes. Add the peas and cook for 5 more minutes.
Add the korma paste and cinnamon and cook for 3 more minutes. Add the chicken broth and cook for 3 more minutes.
Meanwhile, cook the basmati rice according to package instructions.
Pour the shrimp into the sauce and cook until just about to boil. Add the yogurt and almond and mix.
Remove the cinnamon stick and serve.
