Shrimp Skewers

Delicious shrimp skewers with green, red, and yellow bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion. Delicious!

  • 2 kilos shrimp, medium peeled and deveined
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 red onion, cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons piquín chile
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 zucchini, sliced

  • Mix the olive oil, sugar, chili powder, and garlic salt in a bowl. Add to the shrimp and mix.
  • Prepare the skewers by placing 1 piece of each color of bell pepper, 1 piece of onion, 1 slice of zucchini, and a piece of shrimp. Repeat 2 or 3 times.
  • Heat the grill and just before cooking the skewers, soak the wooden sticks so they do not burn.
  • Cook the shrimp for approximately 5-8 minutes on each side or until they turn pink. Remove from the grill and serve.
