Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2 kilos shrimp, medium peeled and deveined
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into boxes
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into boxes
  • 1 red pepper, cut into boxes
  • 1 red onion, cut in pictures
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons pequin pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 zucchini, sliced

Preparation

Mix olive oil, sugar, chili pepper and garlic salt in a bowl. Add to the shrimp and mix.
Prepare the skewers by putting 1 piece of each color of pepper, 1 piece of onion, 1 slice of pumpkin and a piece of shrimp. Repeat 2 or 3 times.
Heat the grill and just before cooking the skewers wet the wooden sticks so they do not cook.
Cook the shrimp approximately 5-8 minutes on each side or until they are pink. Remove from the grill and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve the skewers in a large white bowl.
