Shrimp with Chile and Garlic

These rich and easy shrimp are seasoned with garlic, chili, olive oil, and lemon.

  • 1 kilo shrimp, large, peeled and deveined
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 tablespoons guajillo chile, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1/3 cups olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 slice lime, to decorate
  • parsley, to decorate

  • Brown the garlic, chili and salt in the olive oil in a skillet over low heat for 4-5 minutes.
  • Increase heat to medium heat and add shrimp, cook 3-4 minutes or until cooked.
  • Remove from heat, add the lemon juice and mix. Serve.
