Place the flour on a flat plate, on another side, mix the egg with the milk in a bowl, and finally, mix the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika on a flat plate until fully combined.
Dip the shrimp one by one, first in the flour plate, then in the egg with milk, and finally in the breadcrumb and spice mixture.
In a deep pot with enough hot oil at medium-high temperature, fry the shrimp for 6 to 8 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oil with the help of tongs and place on a plate with paper towels.
Serve the breaded shrimp on an appetizer plate and accompany with thousand island dressing and lemons.
