Garlic Prawns

Prawns are not very popular, but like shrimp, they can be prepared in many different ways. Try this delicious garlic prawns recipe.

  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon yellow ajíe, chopped
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 6 leaves bay
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • lime juice

  • Peel the prawns, use a knife to open the back of the seafood and rinse the vein out with water.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and add the garlic; when golden, add the bay leaf, garlic, and onion. Once the onion is golden, add the prawns and salt. Cover and reduce the heat, cooking for 7 minutes.
  • After this time, uncover, stir the prawns, and season with salt and pepper. Seven minutes later, uncover again, sprinkle with parsley, and drizzle with lemon juice.
