Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura

3/4 cups beer
3/4 cups flour
salt
6 shrimp, clean
1 sweet potato, peeled and sliced
vegetable oil
1 bell pepper, sliced into thick juliennes
6 asparagus, clean

Preparation

In a bowl, combine beer, flour, and salt, mix.
Make cuts on the curved part of the shrimp so that it doesn't curl when frying.
Heat the oil until it reaches a temperature of 375ºF.
Dip the shrimp, peppers, sweet potatoes, and asparagus into the mixture.
Remove and fry for 3 minutes.
Transfer the tempura and place on absorbent paper, season with salt.
Serve with soy sauce.
