Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura

Delicious shrimp tempura with vegetables. A very tasty dish in the oriental style. Prepare this recipe, you will like it and the vegetables will delight your children.

  • 3/4 cups beer
  • 3/4 cups flour
  • salt
  • 6 shrimp, clean
  • 1 sweet potato, peeled and sliced
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced into thick juliennes
  • 6 asparagus, clean
  • soy

  • In a bowl, combine beer, flour, and salt, mix.
  • Make cuts on the curved part of the shrimp so that it doesn't curl when frying.
  • Heat the oil until it reaches a temperature of 375ºF.
  • Dip the shrimp, peppers, sweet potatoes, and asparagus into the mixture.
  • Remove and fry for 3 minutes.
  • Transfer the tempura and place on absorbent paper, season with salt.
  • Serve with soy sauce.
