Shrimp Snack with Pico de Gallo

This snack with crackers, cream cheese, and shrimp is perfect for any occasion, and the best part is that you don’t need a stove or oven to prepare it. Try these delicious shrimp prepared with pico de gallo; they will be an ideal snack for Lent, fresh and very easy to cook.

  • 1 1/2 cups pink shrimp, small
  • 1 cup tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups red onion
  • 3 tablespoons serrano chile, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup Philadelphia® cream cheese, Original
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 cups cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 package Ritz® cookies, Savory
  • leaves oregano, for garnish
  • serrano chile, sliced for garnish

  • Mix the shrimp with the tomato, red onion, serrano pepper, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  • For the cilantro dip, blend in a processor the Philadelphia® Original cream cheese, avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and garlic powder.
  • Spread the Ritz® cracker with the cilantro dip and place the shrimp on top. Garnish with oregano and slices of chili.
