Surimi and Shrimp Lasagna

  • 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 kilos shrimp, clean
  • 10 sticks surimi, whole
  • 3 bunches chard, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 8 cups water
  • 10 lasagna sheets, (sheets)
  • 380 grams cream cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 jar Prego® homestyle alfredo sauce, 411g

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, cook the garlic and onion until they are shiny and transparent. Add the shrimp, surimi, Swiss chard, and cook for a few minutes. Season and set aside.
  • Heat water in a small pot and add salt. Cook the pasta sheets, drain, and set aside.
  • For the sauce, blend the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Prego® Homemade Style Alfredo Sauce. Set aside.
  • In a greased lasagna dish, place a layer of pasta sheets at the bottom, add some filling, cover with lasagna sheets, and the cheese mixture until you have several layers.
  • For the last layer, add more lasagna sheets and the sauce. Finish with grated mozzarella cheese.
  • Gratin in the oven for 15 minutes. Let the lasagna rest, cut, and serve with a bit of sautéed Swiss chard.
