Spicy and Creamy Shrimp Tacos

These tacos are delicious and very easy to make; they combine flavors from the sea and the land because they include beans and are perfect to enjoy alone or with company.

  • vegetable oil
  • 3 cups shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 box Del Fuerte® ground tomatoes with chipotle chiles, 210 g
  • 1 teaspoon chile flakes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups refried black beans, refried black beans
  • avocado
  • red onion, for garnish
  • cilantro, in leaves, for garnish

  • Heat a small pot over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and sauté the onion with the garlic for 3 minutes; add the cream and Tomates Molidos con Chile Chilpotle Del Fuerte®, and finally, add the chili flakes and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil, and cook the shrimp for about 3 minutes; pour in the sauce you prepared earlier and cook for 2 more minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked.
  • Assemble the tacos with refried beans, shrimp in sauce, and garnish with avocado, red onion, and cilantro.
