Spicy Mustard Broth with Calamari Rings

This spicy calamari recipe is perfect for lunchtime. Delicious cream with a touch of mustard and hot sauce, and sautéed calamari rings.

  • 3 cups squid, in rings
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 6 tablespoons Salsa Huichol® Habanero hot sauce
  • 1 gram white pepper, ground
  • 2 grams salt
  • 5 grams parsley, for garnish

  • Heat the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion for 3 minutes, add the calamari rings, and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Add the heavy cream, mustard, and Huichol Habanera sauce, and cook for 10 minutes over medium heat. Season, remove from heat, add the parsley, and serve.
