Cooking a live lobster is much simpler than you think. With this recipe, you can have a lobster ready in less than 15 minutes, full of flavor! The cooking time depends on the weight of the lobsters.
Put your live lobsters in the refrigerator (inside the bags they came in) as soon as possible to keep them fresh.
Put a deep pot on the stove with 2 cm. of water. Add salt. The water should taste like sea water, very salty. Cover the pot and wait for it to boil.
Once the water is boiling, add the lobsters one by one. Cover the pot and once it starts boiling again, cook the lobsters according to their weight.
For lobsters between 1 lbs and 1 1/2 lbs, cook for 10-12 minutes.
Lobsters from 1 1/2 to 2 lbs, cook for 13-14 minutes.
Lobsters between 2 and 3 lbs, cook for 16-18 minutes.
Lobsters between 3 and 4 lbs, cook for 20-22 minutes.
