Surimi Fingers

The surimi finger snack is very tasty, simple, spicy, and easy to cook. It's perfect for an afternoon with friends or as an appetizer for a delicious meal.

  • 1/2 cups salsa, Huichol Tradicional®
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 5 surimi
  • 1 cream cheese, (190 g)
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs, (battered)
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil

  • Blend half of the sauce with the mayonnaise until it reaches a creamy consistency. Set aside.
  • Place the surimi sticks, the other half of the sauce, cheese, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Form a firm paste and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Take portions of the mixture and shape them into fingers, coat them with flour, egg, and breadcrumbs. Refrigerate again until firm.
  • Fry in hot oil without allowing them to fall apart, remove excess oil with a paper towel, and serve with the dressing you set aside.
