Surimi Tempura

  • 8 surimi
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups rice flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 ice cubes
  • vegetable oil

  • Cut each surimi stick into four (one cut in half (vertically), one cut in half (horizontally).
  • Prepare the tempura batter. Lightly beat the egg, set aside. Combine the flour, water, and mix gently before incorporating the egg. Add a couple of ice cubes.
  • Pass the surimi through this mixture.
  • Fry in hot oil.
  • Once fried, place the surimi in a colander to drain excess oil. Put the fish on absorbent paper.
