Tilapia in Portobello and Mint

Tilapia fillet in butter, on a bed of onion and portobello baked.

  • 2 fish steaks, of tilapia (200 grams each)
  • 150 grams onion, cabbage cut into julienne
  • 150 grams portobello mushroom, in pieces
  • honey
  • olive oil
  • salt , to taste
  • sour cream
  • mint leaves , fresh
  • unsalted butter

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • In a baking dish, place the onions and portobello, drenching them with olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Put the baking dish in the oven and remove it 20 minutes later.
  • In a hot skillet, melt a good amount of butter and add the tilapia, seasoning with salt and pepper. While it cooks, spoon the leftover butter over it to help it brown; the fillet will be ready in about 4 minutes per side.
  • In a bowl, mix chopped mint leaves, whey, salt, and pepper.
  • On a plate, create a bed with the garnish in the baking dish and place the fillet on top, drenching it with the mint whey.
