Tuna Croquettes

Tuna croquette recipe that the whole family will love. Made with canned tuna, in a breaded béchamel sauce, they turn out delicious!

  • 50 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon celery
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 liters cow's milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil, for frying
  • chervil, for garnish
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 tuna, drained 400 grams or 500

  • Melt the butter and sauté the onion, then add the celery.
  • Blend the milk, flour, salt, and pepper; pour over the butter and let cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Place the mixture in the freezer for 15 minutes; then remove and mix with the tuna and finely chopped parsley.
  • Shape the croquettes, dip them in beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs, and fry in hot oil over low heat until golden.
  • Arrange on a platter, garnishing each croquette with a sprig of Chinese parsley.
