Tasty Tuna Croquettes

Recipe of tuna croquettes that will please the whole family. Prepared with canned tuna, in a breaded béchamel sauce, they are delicious!

  • 50 grams butter
  • 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon celery
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 liters cow's milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil, to fry
  • chervil, to decorate
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 4 tuna, drained 400 grams or 500gr (14oz-17oz)

  • Melt the butter melts and sauté the onion and then add the celery.
  • Blend the bilk, flour, salt and pepper; pour it over the butter simmering at low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Refrigerate mixture in the freezer for 15 minutes; then take it out and mix the tuna with minced parsley.
  • Shape the croquettes, pass through the beaten egg, then the ground bread and fry them in hot oil over a low heat.
  • Arrange the croquettes in a platter and place a spring of Chinese parsley
