Tuna Tostadas Mexican Style

Eating tuna doesn’t have to be boring, and this canned tuna recipe is proof. These tostadas are an excellent option when you don’t have much time to cook and want to use the ingredients you already have at home. They are delicious tuna tostadas Mexican style, dressed with cream and avocado.   • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons serrano chile, chopped
  • 2 cups canned tuna, drained
  • 1/4 cups tomato purée
  • pinches salt
  • pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cups cilantro
  • tostadas
  • 1 teaspoon sour cream
  • avocado, sliced

  • In a pan, heat the olive oil and cook the onion, garlic, tomato, serrano chili, tuna, tomato puree, salt, pepper, cumin, and lime juice for 10 minutes, add the cilantro and set aside.
  • Serve on a tostada and garnish with cream and avocado.
