Stewed Tuna

I had only eaten tuna in salad, but when I got married my husband asked me to make him stewed tuna. I had to research the recipe and it turned out to be delicious and from the Port of Veracruz.

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1/2 onions
  • serrano chiles
  • green olives
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Finely chop the onion, tomato, garlic, serrano chili, and olives.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the ingredients, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Once everything is well seasoned, add the tuna (previously drained) and stir.
  • Let it cook over medium heat until the liquid reduces and it becomes drier.
