Stewed Tuna

I had only eaten tuna in salad, but when I got married my husband asked me to make him eat stewed tuna. I had to investigate the recipe and it turned out to be delicious and from the Port of Veracruz.

  • 2 cans tuna
  • 1/2 onions
  • serrano chiles
  • green olives
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Finely chop the onion, the tomato, the garlic, the serrano pepper and the olives.
  • In a pan heat olive oil and fry the ingredients, season.
  • Once everything is well seasoned, empty the tuna (previously drained) and stir.
  • Leave cooking over medium heat until it reduces the liquid and becomes drier.
