Tuna Burger

Because we know you love burgers, we prepared this canned tuna burger recipe, served with potato chips and a delicious touch of guacamole. Making these burgers will serve you well on days when you don't want to eat meat or will also be ideal for having something different this Lent season. Enjoy them with all the flavor of McCormick® guacamole flavor.

  • 2 cups tuna
  • 1/2 cups onion
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cups Jalapeño chile
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 1/2 cups McCormick® guacamole flavored mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • vegetable oil
  • Manchego cheese

  • 1 cup McCormick® guacamole flavored mayonnaise, for the dressing
  • 1/2 cups tomato, finely chopped for the dressing
  • 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped for the dressing
  • 2 serrano chiles, finely chopped for the dressing
  • potato chips, thinly sliced, for garnish

  • For the burger, in a bowl mix the tuna with the onion, garlic, jalapeño chili, McCormick® guacamole flavor, breadcrumbs, and oregano until fully incorporated. Using your hands, form the burgers of approximately 200 grams.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and cook the burger on both sides, add the slice of manchego cheese and let it melt. Cook for 10 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Place the meat on the bread, add McCormick® guacamole flavor, the tomato, the onion, the serrano chili, and the potato chips.
  • Serve with coleslaw.
