Tuna Burger

Because we know you love hamburgers, we have prepared this hamburger recipe with canned tuna, accompanied by French fries and a delicious touch of guacamole. Making these burgers will serve you well for days when you don't want to eat meat or they will also be ideal to eat something different this season of Lent. Enjoy them with all the flavor of McCormick® guacamole flavor.

  • 2 cups tuna
  • 1/2 cups onion
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cups Jalapeño chile
  • 1 cup tomato
  • 1/2 cups McCormick® guacamole flavored mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • vegetable oil
  • Manchego cheese

  • 1 cup McCormick® guacamole flavored mayonnaise, for the dressing
  • 1/2 cups tomato, finely chopped for dressing
  • 1/2 cups red onion, finely chopped for dressing
  • 2 serrano chiles, finely chopped for dressing
  • potato chips, thin cut, to accompany

  • For the hamburger, in a bowl mix the tuna with the onion, garlic, jalapeño pepper, McCormick® guacamole flavor, ground bread, oregano, until completely incorporated. With the help of your hands, form the hamburgers of approximately 200 grams.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, heat the oil and cook the hamburger on both sides, add the slice of Manchego cheese and let it gratin. Cook for 10 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Place the meat on the bread, add McCormick® guacamole flavor, the tomato, the onion, the serrano pepper and the French fries.
  • Serve accompanied by coleslaw.
