Tuna Club Sandwich

  • 2 cups tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for the bread, for the club sandwich

  • 1 cup queso fresco, in strips, for the club sandwich
  • 1 cup tomato, in slices, for the club sandwich

  • For the dressing: add mayonnaise, chipotle chili, cream, mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix perfectly until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. Once the ingredients are integrated, add the tuna and mix again.
  • Melt butter on a grill, place two slices of bread, and toast for 3 minutes on one side until grill marks appear and they are golden brown. Set aside.
  • Place the previously toasted slice of bread on a clean board or surface and start assembling the tuna club sandwich: Begin by placing a layer of lettuce, then the tuna mixture, followed by a layer of spinach, fresh cheese, and tomato.
  • Place an untoasted slice of bread and repeat the previous process, finishing with the other slice that you toasted earlier. Insert some skewers and make a diagonal cut to obtain two triangles.
  • Place the tuna club sandwich on a plate and serve with a soft drink.
