Tuna in Tomato Sauce

This is a great option to prepare delicious tuna in a different way than usual and break the routine; it’s a delicious recipe that I hope you try at home.

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • onions, in julienne
  • 3 tomatillos, previously cooked
  • 1 clove garlic
  • basil
  • peppermint
  • 4 tuna steaks, fresh
  • salt
  • water, to taste
  • bay
  • pepper

  • First, in our pan, we seal our tuna steaks, seasoning them with salt and pepper to taste.
  • With our previously cooked tomatoes, we put them in a blender along with the mint and basil leaves, and a little water, adding a clove of garlic, and blend very well until forming a sauce with an adequate consistency.
  • Now, since our pieces of tuna are well sealed, we will add the onion and the pieces of bell pepper, letting them cook for about 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Now we add our delicious sauce and a few bay leaves.
  • Ready, we have our perfect dish, easy and quick.
