Tuna in Tomato Sauce

This is a great option to prepare a delicious tuna in a different way than usual, and get out of the routine, it is a delicious recipe that I hope you will try at home.

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • onions, in juliana
  • 3 tomatillos, previously cooked
  • 1 clove garlic
  • basil
  • peppermint
  • 4 tuna steaks, cool
  • salt
  • water, to taste
  • bay
  • pepper

  • First in our frying pan we seal our tuna fillets seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.
  • With our previously cooked tomatoes, we take them to a blender together with the leaves of mint and basil, and a little water, add a clove of garlic and we grind very well until forming a sauce with a suitable consistency.
  • Now, since our pieces of tuna are very well sealed we are going to add the onion and the pieces of pepper, we let cook around 2 or 3 minutitos.
  • Now yeah, we add our delicious sauce and a few bay leaves.
  • Ready we have our perfect dish, easy and fast.
