Alfredo Pizza with Shrimp and Artichoke

Making a homemade pizza is possible and less difficult than you think. This Alfredo pizza with shrimp and artichoke recipe is perfect for that special weekend or creamy craving.   • 3 cups flour, for the dough (500 g)
  • 1 cup water, for the dough
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, for the dough (25 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon salt, for the dough (10 g)
  • 11 grams yeast, for the dough
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, for the dough
  • 1 teaspoon basil, for the dough
  • 1 cup bacon, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons garlic
  • 2 cups shrimp, clean and peeled
  • 1 package cream cheese, in cubes (190 g)
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3/4 cups Parmesan cheese
  • salt

  • 1 cup tomato sauce, for pizza
  • cheese, manchego and mozzarella mixed
  • 2 cans artichoke hearts San Miguel De Origen®, drained (without liquid)
  • 1/2 cups dehydrated tomatoes San Miguel De Origen®, cut into strips

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • On a clean surface, form a well with the flour and add the water, oil, salt, yeast, oregano, basil, and knead until you have a smooth and elastic mixture.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in volume.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon until it changes color, add the garlic, shrimp, cream cheese, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Let cool and set aside.
  • On a cutting board, cut the San Miguel de Origen® Artichoke Hearts in half. Set aside.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. Place it on a baking sheet, spread with pizza tomato sauce, add the manchego and mozzarella cheese mixture, the shrimp, San Miguel de Origen® Artichoke Hearts, and place the San Miguel de Origen® Sun-Dried Tomatoes.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the dough is cooked and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven, slice, and serve.
