Breaded Cheese Sticks with Granola

This recipe for breaded cheese sticks with granola is perfect for a snack or to send in your kids' lunch. They are low in fat and have a rich flavor thanks to Kellogg’s® Ancient Grains Granola; sunflower seeds, amaranth, and raisins. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Kids will love them.

  • 2 cups Kellogg’S® granola ancestral grains; sunflower seeds, amaranth and raisins
  • 14 Mozzarella cheese, tubes
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon cow's milk
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • cooking spray

  • Cut the block of mozzarella into thick rectangles. If you got mozzarella tubes, skip this step.
  • Place the egg in a bowl and beat it with a fork, then add the milk. Put the flour in another bowl and add salt and pepper.
  • Dip the mozzarella rectangles in the flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in Kellogg's® Ancient Grains Granola; sunflower seeds, amaranth, and raisins.
  • Place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat and spray them with a little vegetable oil spray. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
