  • In a bowl, hydrate the yeast with the water, and dissolve using a spoon. Let it rest for 3 minutes.
  • In another bowl with the flour, add the hydrated yeast, oil, and salt; using your hands or a plastic spatula, mix gradually, add McCormick® Special Selection Garlic Butter flavor, and integrate until you have a sticky but firm consistency.
  • Sprinkle a little flour on a flat surface, remove the dough from the bowl, and place it on top, knead for about 10 minutes or until you have an elastic and uniform consistency.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl with olive oil, cover with a cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rest for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size. Punch the dough with your fist to release the air.
  • In another bowl, mix the tomato paste with pepper, enough salt, olive oil, and basil until integrated. Set aside.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a circle, place the dough in a baking mold, add the crushed tomato mixture, fresh mozzarella cheese, and a little more basil. Bake at 250 °C for 8 minutes.
  • If desired, you can garnish with more basil.
