Fun Vegetable Soup

The classic vegetable soup but with a more fun and cute twist. If your kids don't like eating vegetables, try telling them they're flowers and hearts. They'll love it!

  • 2 liters water
  • 2 zucchinis
  • 1 chayote
  • 2 carrots
  • 100 grams green beans
  • 1 potato
  • 1 red beefsteak tomato, large
  • 1 teaspoon garlic seasoning
  • 100 grams white rice

  • Wash and disinfect all the vegetables. Peel the potato and carrot.
  • With cookie cutters, make all the shapes you can think of with each vegetable. Boil them in 2 liters of water with coarse salt. I recommend boiling the potato and carrot first, and lastly the chayote, zucchini, and green beans.
  • Blend the tomato in a blender or food processor. Strain and add to the vegetable broth. Incorporate garlic seasoning or any seasoning of your choice.
  • Adjust the seasoning. While it continues to boil, you can add a handful of rice to cook, thicken the soup a bit, and give it more consistency.
